Hi All,

Earlier IFS did not provide IFSAPP password for Use Place environments.
However , I came to know that some customers with IFS Managed Cloud do know IFSAPP password.
Has the IFS policy been changed now?
Is it possible to request IFSAPP password for Use Place environments?

IFSAPP account has 2 passwords.

One is for Application login. That can be set via the application (users page) itself. This way you can access the application. This PWD can’t use for DB access.

Other password is for DB logging. For Manage Cloud customers this PWD will not be shared. So you can’t log into DB directly (like using PLSQL developer/SQL).

May be you were heard about the Client password.
