I have an virtual machine assigned and It has an academy self signed certificate.
I can use this for completing my installation. Unfortunately there is no password supplied. Without this I cannot proceed with my installation. Please help.

You will need to request the password from whomever provided it to you to continue.
However, since it is self-signed, it may just be easier to create your own self-signed certificate. You can do that with keytool or (ideally) openssl.
