Hi,

How can we translate the basic data or master data to the logged-in language?

For example, if we log in as "En," we should see English values; if we log in as "German," we should see German values.

I’m pretty sure the language packs are not loaded by default in the core application.  They have to be packaged and installed separately.

Hi @Darshana Herath,

Please check the “Used Languages” section in the customer Build Place first. You can find the documentation regarding updating languages here:

https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r2/020_lifecycle/070_self_service_options/010_updating_lng/

Hope this helps!

@Darshana Herath, from your screenshot, you are referring to the translation of data and not field labels, correct?

If it is the former, for basic data there are some translation capabilities under My Administration in IFS Cloud, see link below.

https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r2/060_development/027_base_server_dev/100_localization_internationalization/099_basic_data_translation/

For master data, I don’t think that these will be translated at all.

Can we do this for data?

Ex : label is - User Name

      Value is- Darshana

If user logged in German, Darshana should be converted in to Darshana-German
