How can I connect to the IFS 8 MWS node manager? The process shows as SUSPENDED and I can’t kick out the connected users to restart the Windows Services. How can I UNSUSPEND the server?

Hi,

If you have the SUSPENDED state even after stop and start all servers (including node managers), then it’s better you raise a ticket for IFS|Partner to investigate the issue.

Use the start_nodemanager.cmd script to start it again. Also you can restart the windows service as well, it should not affect already running Managed Server so no need to kick out the connected users. But it is better you just inform users to save their work in case if nodemanager restarts Managed Server to overcome an existing problem.

Hi Alan,

can you confirm whether you have entered the correct middleware server password?

In case if you have entered the correct password and restarting servers doesn’t help, then the best thing would logging a support case to IFS.
