We are having an issue when retreating crystal reports which are deployed as Quick reports.

  • This issue is only on the newly deployed reports.
  • Reports are working fine when run on the Crystal itself.

Database connection

Save data with report option unchecked.

Hi,

Crystal command are not support in the Crystal Report Framework. This is also documented in the technical documentation.

Development Guide > Report Development > Development of Crystal Reports > Crystal Report as Quick Report Page. Check the “Considerations and design guidelines”

  • Crystal Commands are not supported.
Custom SQL query commands are not supported by the framework.

The to maintain backward compatibility a bug was fix to resolve the blank report issue. This also have limited support. Some commands might not work. In that case you will have to redesign the layout to use views.

The patch id is 71032 and had gone with Service Pack 2, Component Patch Set 3. Try applying that.

Yet, as I said using Crystal Commands are not supported and it’s suggested to use views instead.

Regards,

Chanaka
