How to get an output file with the success and failed records while upload the external file

Hello,

When I use the current External File upload it validate with the missing Rule Types and pops up an error. I need to by pass that and enter correct records relevant window and , get an output file with the success and failed records. Could any one suggest a way to implement this scenario?
