Getting a weird message on VS code plugin

Forum|alt.badge.img+11

Getting the message below when trying to run “IFS: Select code generator target version:

The bundled verification helper returned invalid output while checking ifs-dev-buildtasks.jar. The downloaded file was discarded and the existing code generator is unchanged.

Anyone have any idea how to fix it?

Thanks,

That error looks like the extension downloaded a new ifs-dev-buildtasks.jar but its verification step failed, so it kept your existing code generator. Nothing is broken, but you can’t switch versions right now.

Things to try:

Open View > Output in VS Code, select the IFS extension, and check the log. It usually shows the real cause, possibly a Java error, or a checksum mismatch.
Run java -version and confirm it matches what the IFS dev setup requires. A wrong or missing Java can make the helper return invalid output. It needs a java version greater than 11.
Close VS Code, delete any cached ifs-dev-buildtasks.jar (the log shows the path), reopen, and retry.
Update or reinstall the IFS extension, then run Developer: Reload Window.

If it still fails, post the Output panel text here and we can take a closer look

Morning,

I found the problem yesterday, the JDK from my computer was not well configured. So, after update the environment Variables, it worked.

Thanks,
