Differences in Application Service update and Framework service update

Newer framework version is implicity applied during delivery installation by default.

Thanks - is it only during deliveries or also when you for example update the server certificate or add security patches to the MT?

Does is have any impact that there are differences or are newer framework updates always 100% backward compatible?

If you apply any form of delivery, the latest framework is automatically applied.

We ran into big problems after applying a fix on a custom printout - we automatically had Framework 25.1.6 applied to our application service 25.1.3.

There were bugs in framework SU 6 that stopped almost all our users from using search - we had to apply framework 25.1.7 to solve these issues.

I have not found any information on what is included or changes between framework versions.

It should be optional to apply latest framework when applying any form of delivery to the environments.

Here You have excel with changes of each update within 25R1. I think framework changes as well.

I usually check this excel sheet for application changes. Do you know how to isolate framework corrections. The information I received from our implementation partner is that framework corrections are not offically listed for customers.

It is only excel file so it can be various. But I know that file contains framework corrections.
