Current User ID in Crystal Quick Report

Dear community.

Is it possible to get the currently logged in user somehow available in a Crystal quick Report?? maybe via an IAL? or even can you pass across in the RMB Custom Menu transfer?

    Hi,

    The Crystal Report is rendered in the Crystal web Service in the server side and has no client side processing. Therefore the best approach is to send the user as a parameter.

    There are other workaround ways which are not that too solid.

    thanks for getting back to me. Do you know how to pass the current user as a parameter to the Quick Report dialog prompt, i’ve tried, FND_USER_API and #USER_ID# but it doesnt work?

    Any ideas?
