In a Risk Analysis I want to use tab Object Connection to connect the Analysis to a serial object. For that I prepared the following object connection, as the serial object was not available in the dropdown to make an object connection to:

With this I was at least able to select the equipment serial from the dropdown in the new object connection. However, I noticed that there is no further functionality, one has to include the complete key in the reference field:

For a work order it works nice and we see that reflected. For a customer order there is a dropdown and when that is used one can select a customer order.

However there is no dropdown for the EquipmentSerial LU. I can't ask from the end customer to enter a full object key with all the 'odd’ characters.

Anyone solved this?

I had a look in the 24R1 SU6 and there the data are fetched to the Object Key LOV.

 

Did you try refreshing the ObjectConnection cache already ?

 

 

I thought I did, but when looking, no update done after the new Object Connection was set. After the refresh of cache, still no dropdown functionality.

I noticed that we are on 24.1.2 so not at 24.1.6. So somewhere in between the two updates, this must have been changed. I wait for update 6 to be installed.
