SUMMARY: Configuration Extractor is no longer useful in IFS Cloud

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

In IFS Applications 9 & 10, outcome of the Configuration Extractor tool along with interface reports are used for configuration impact analysis, performed by Update Analyzer tool. This was the only recommended usage of Configuration Extractor.

Since interface reports are no longer available in IFS Cloud, Update Analyzer is unable to perform configuration impact analysis in IFS Cloud in the same way, thus making Configuration Extractor tool has no recommended usage in any of the IFS Cloud versions.

In IFS Cloud, configuration impact analysis is performed via the new tool Configuration Analyzer.

Note that Application Configuration Packages (ACPs) needs to be used for transportation of configurations between environments.
