The bug is in APPS8 SP2 version. But the customer is in APPS8 SP1 version. I need to know that, is it ok to apply that bug to the customer?

This is a vey general question that is rather impossible to give an answer upon for anyone. What bug is it, which area or product group does it belongs to. Does the bug have any dependecny to other bugs that needs to be taken. I think you need to state a bit more what this is about and then I think someone can answer this question. Most likley not me, but for the product group that have done the correction of the bug.

From practical point of view in 95% it is possible and quite easy. Of course it should be related to business functionality not Framework or any Binary patch.
