Assigning Personal or Base Profile to App Owner?

A profile is just a mechanism that allows end users to customize the application’s user interface. They are not part of how user authorization is handled in the application, which is achieved via Permission Sets in IFS Applications. Therefore, I don’t think there is any problem in assigning user/base profiles to Application Owner.
