Apps8 - Schedule/Email Quick Report

I am also looking for the same

I checked an environment of a customer of mine who is using App 8 SP2.

For this version I can say it is not possible in IFS standard.
You only can use scheduled tasks and scheduled reports (where the reports need to be coded reports *_REP).

From App9 on you could use scheduled sql statements

In earlier versions I assume you could create a database method to execute the quick report SQL and send a mail from database directly. The database method you could set permissions on and run it as a scheduled task. 

But that would be like a small hard-coded interface functionality.

Thank you Durette, I think that this link is only for apps9 or apps10.  In Apps 8 i do not see the same selections as in the screen shots. :-(  

This is possible.

You need to use a dynamic database task to execute the report and dispatch the results to the relevant user.

We've done this for both Crystal and SQL Quick Reports.

Give me a shout if this is something you are interested in looking at.
