Hi,

I am using IFS 9 and there is Application performance issue, when i see the performance details into Task Manger, one java file which is related to Application, it is located as ‘mw_home\java\bin\java’ utilizing 80% CPU Usages and users are getting performance issue.

Please help me to solve this issue,

this should be the middleware server process. First we nedd to find why application server takes this much resources. It is required to analyze IFS logs, a thread dump and other errors written in managed server logs. Most probably stuck threads should give us a hint. 

 

If you don't know how to analyze those logs I suggest you to get assistance through ifs case. Or you can try sharing an ifsdump.zip, a thread dump here and see if we can find something obvious.

A couple questions.

  1. What Apps 9 service pack are you running?
  2. What is the value for the Oracle initialization parameter “control_management_pack_access”?
  3. What is the value set to for the IFS middleware for “ifs.fndmws.ohs.conf.threads.per.child”? For example, on a RACE demo system the file name is “RACE_configuration.xml”.
