My client needs to create objects for already depreciated assets and show in the GL which has zero value. How can do this?

Hi @Manavi Weerarathne

you can register new object and next import acquisition amount and depreciation amount = acquisition amount for this object. As result you will get fully depreciated object.

Hi

Adam is 100% correct.

Depending on how many objects you have, you may want to consider loading the objects via the eternal file process.  Starting in apps 10 (maybe even apps 9) IFS created an external file type and template that allows fairly easy fixed asset loading.

The function Adam is referring to is the below screen - option to import.

Enter dates that represent your asset

Use the import function entering the appropriate values and dates.

Then like all other imports - you need to post the imported transactions.

Best regards,

Thomas
