We are using IFS Apps 8.
We have the following error with the scheduled job:
Period 2020 - 11 is not open for user group XX in Company XXX
The period is closed as part of the month end processing.
Finance have a query to look at maintenance postings analysis for those with a booking status not equal to Transferred however this issue is not seen in this screen.
Where in IFS do Finance need to go to push this through without re-opening periods?

I am not sure, as I am using version 7.5 still, but in General Data for Inventory and Distribution / Financial Control/ Query - Postings you can query for all not transferred (status not equal to 3) postings with date applied prior to current period. From there you can right click to the source transaction (Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing or Maintenance) and try to change date applied on relevant transactions. In case of purchasing and Inventory it might not be possible to change date applied, if purchase order is invoiced already.
