We get this error setting up IFS Connect in our IFS Cloud solutiuon, running 24R1.3

ExecutionException from Sender thread

Caused by: ifs.fnd.connect.senders.ConnectSender$TemporaryFailureException: Error while sending data to file

Caused by: jcifs.smb.SmbException: Failed to connect: 0.0.0.0<00>/10.12.0.128

Caused by: jcifs.util.transport.TransportException: jcifs.smb.SmbException: This client is not compatible with the server.

Caused by: jcifs.smb.SmbException: This client is not compatible with the server.

The  fileshare specified is on a Windows 2025 server.

Are there limitations to IFS connect on SMB versions supported by IFS Cloud?

/JE

Hi, have you configured the File Storage Service and the SMB share path in your middleware?

It might be related to a change in how Windows 2025 handles SMB connections. Maybe the newer protocol version isn’t fully compatible with the JCIFS client used by IFS Connect.
