Options for review / investigations.
Take a look at the audit interface, it offers different file formats (not SIE4).
Apps 10, has a very powerful tool - external files where you can create new file types (input or output) very easily. However, that functionality goes away for Cloud. Migration job is also very powerful.
These options (tweaking the results) is probably easier than developing a new package.
