Shop Orders Variance Reporting

Hi,

I am fairly new to IFS and even newer to this group.

I was wondering is anyone knows of where I can find variance report or reporting for multiple shop orders at a time.  I have been through the Shop Order > Sop Order Costing but I am looking to view a whole day, week or month’s data.  Also would like to export this to Excel for analysis.

I have IFS Business Reporter but don’t know how to use it yet.  From what I’ve read, looks like something that might be useful for this information.

You will need to run the task Aggregate Shop Order Costs per Shop Order for the site, this can be scheduled if you want it done daily. Then on Shop Orders Costs (pay attention to both ess’s) you will be able to see the Estimated, Standard, and Actual costs, then you can create an SQL search against Shop Orders Costs to filter to those that have an Actual minus Standard above whatever threshold you decide.

If you want to check the variance for closed Shop Order again Transaction Code, you can use the Inventory Transactions History window too.
