 Hi Community,

I go through scrapping activity of a rotable pool fixed asset object. What is called Deplete FA Pool in the legacy documentation

Everything works fine until i check the SCRAPPOOL inventory transaction generates that is in Error due to “You have specified an object with wrong status”.
Even after executing the Rerun erroneous accountings for site, the inventory transaction stays in error status.
Any good idea will be welcome how to fix it !

Hi,

I have not tested this.

Most things in fixed assets allow a rollback.  It would be best to do the following in TEST or similar environment.

Rollback the FA object transaction. Then try the inventory.

Again, I have not tested this, but it’s possible, the inventory should be done first, then the FA object. I’m guessing.

@Thomas Peterson
Actually this process is under construction so all this are tested in TEST environnement
Nevertheless i follow step by step IFS doc  https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/24r2/ProcessModels/Process_Model/defineandmaintainrotablepool.htm of the activity Deplete FA Object. The doc is cristal clear. First step is to initiate the Scrap on the Rotabe Pool and second step to effectively scrap the fixed asset object

I try what you suggest but system not allow me to rollback Scrap Pool Object transaction.

From my side it is a weird message and seems to be a bug because  in reality the fixed asset object it is no more attached/linked to the Rotable Pool Part. And this is the case when i check the Rotable Part Pool. For me this is ok at the time at this step of the process the part is returned in inventory

@Thomas Peterson  Any other idea ?
