We are having issues were the same Work Tasks are reposting over and over and will not go to Final Posted status. We found this because we phased out some account numbers and those same transactions are now going into error status because it’s trying to repost using old account numbers. 

When we look at a single transaction on the Work Task Transaction screen and look at the Accounting tab, we can see how many times this specific transaction was reposted. It was reposted 30+ times on 6/1 and we don’t know why. 

 Has anyone else ran into this issue? If so, how did you resolve it?

 

We’re on IFS10 UPD13 but we discovered this while on UPD10

We cannot identify the reason for this specific scenario without properly investigating the issue in your environment. However, for the moment if you wish to stop happening reposting over and over again you can mark them as Finally Posted manually. Then this transaction will not be reposted again. However, make sure whether your cost is correctly transferred to the final account before you manually set it to the finally posted state.

 

How to set finally posted manually :

  • RMB on the work task
  • Set as Finally Posted
