Hi,
Since 2022 Romania will start with SAF-T file.
Has anyone heard of any partner in Romania converting IFS data to XML?
So we deliver data in the form of XLS or TXT files and an additional application converts them to XML.
Another solution, maybe someone heard of a complete solution for IFS?
I am looking for any solution for my Client.

Hi,
I read a bit about the changes. I’m thinking you could use the audit interface functionality as a basis.
One function in audit interface is the ability to create output file. One file type we have is the SAF-T.
You could copy one of the templates that exist and create a template that matches your needs.
I did this years ago for some other country - I honestly don’t remember the client or country (been too many clients).

Hi Marek - Did not recognize the user name, I should know that name. Hope all is well.
The “audit” functionality was added as part of the functionality developed by IFS Germany. It may have come in apps 8. Anyway we can thank our German friends. They created some really good stuff.

I use it Audit Interface Assistance for Poland i Lithuania., I would like make it in the same way for Romania but this Customer unfortunatelly use IFS7.5 . :( but I will consider how to make it as similar solution.
Maybe let you know when I will find any solution :)

Hi,
Due to this obligatory we (IFS Poland) already started with preparing solution for some polish customers which have Plants in Romania.
This is not standard, so we do it as a additional service.

So, we as a Romanian company should address directly to IFS? Our headquarter is in US.
I am wondering, there are some big companies in Romania that need to report this file starting with January 2022. How did they handle this?

I think so you have to ask IFS. This SAF-T is optional. In my opinion, you do not have to report it. As far as I know, you only need to send it when your local authority asks for it, but you have 6 months to do so.
This is some kind of transition period.
I'm not a specialist in this field (I'm from Poland :) but I talked to a Romanian partner who explained to me how it works.

Yes, true...there is a transition period :). It is optional now, but will be mandatory in next future.
I am preparing from time, it seems is not that easy to create this files.
Hopefully IFS will prepare these by Jan 2023.

I have worked with a Romanian IT company, IFS consultant, for other tax declarations, they also said that IFS Poland is coordinating saf-t for Romania.
For the moment, I am waiting IFS answer from US.

We started with the developing for clients in IFS 7.5 and IFS8, but the solution is based on the standard (Audit intefrace) and can be transferred to IFS10
