Hi

Is anybody automatically matching rental lines to invoices in IFS. We have done it with PO lines but we are looking for a solution to do it with Rental lines that would feed into accruals for period-end reporting

Hi @Arend @BABPAULS ,

As per the current design, this is not possible in standard behavior. This has been reported to RnD many times during the past history. They will consider this hopefully considering the demand for this functionality.

Back in February 2021 RnD stood with below stance on this,

“The impact of implementing such matching functionality directly in the support track is not possible. This is due to that the risk of such an implementation in a live environment would be too great, it needs to be extensively tested and verified that it does not affect any of the other existing process flows in the application.”

As a work around that might help a bit on the way, you can use ‘Match All’ functionality available when matching Rental lines. This will make the matching process a bit easier and you do not need to match each line one by one, but the extra step in matching is still needed.

Kindly consider creating an Idea for this in Community.

Thanks.

Hi BABPAULS

Did you ever found out if / how this is to be done?

Thanks
