The Polish e-invoice xml files do not include lot batch numbers. The lot batch number is mandatory on sales documents for seeds. Please see the attached relevant documents:

1. Regulation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development
2. the Seed Act of 9 November 2012

Under IFS Case CS0568311 IFS have said they will deal with this as an enhancement and produce a fix for 2027.  It had been previously reported to IFS via Case CS0519575 but was rejected so I tried again with the new case (this time it has been accepted).

However, the issue is current and 2027 is too vague a date for a solution.

Is anyone else facing such an issue?

IFS referred us to IDEA ‘IFS UBL eInvoice Missing Lot Batch No’ however that is re Sweden and we need to ensure that Poland is included and in a reasonable time frame for our business.

See my comment on the idea. Technically the lot batch numbers and serials are not tagged to the invoiced quantity on the invoice line, so it is impossible to achieve this correctly 100% of the time even if IFS even tries to fetch them through the invoice data view.

The problem is not trivial. Multiple invoices for the same order line is a big one. The qty to be invoiced can be also altered so it makes things even more complicated. Invoices and their duplicates can be re-printed / re-sent retrospectively. Without a proper tagging (manual???) it’s very hard for me to imagine how this can be achieved.

I have always said that lot batch numbers and serials should be documented on the delivery documents but cannot really argue with the legal requirements.

Greetings to all my Polish friends :)
