The event action of NOTIFY_NEXT_AUTH is enabled and we also have a notification schedule set. Not all authorizers/acknowledgers that are the next in line for the invoices assigned to them are receiving the email notification. Would acknowledgers also receive notification if we have this set?

@tonyHMC yes, normally all next authorizers/acknowledgers should get the email.

  1. Make sure the Notify User is checked.
  1. Make sure the User has email address setup

Normally when NOTIFY_NEXT_AUTH is executed by database task, it will create an application message for every email it tries to send. Please check if you have any failed application messages - for which the email couldn’t be sent.

I’ve seen cases where the user didn’t have an email address specified and the Application Message was failing cause it didn’t know to which email address to send the information.

@Marcel.Ausan, where exactly would I confirm the user has email address setup? I have checked application messages and none have failed so far. Notify user has been checked as well. It is only going to a certain amount of people inside the organization.

@tonyHMC email address needs to be setup in the User page. But I don’t think this is releavant for you since you didn’t see any failed Application Messages.
