In Apps 9.7 we were able to post an invoice and then select an action – either do nothing, print to a print, create a PFD or send out to the email address in the functional object. This was based on the ability in 9.7 to separately post and then make a printing decision. When selecting the Print option the posting still happened but the printing did not happen if a user selected Preview on the popup. The actual print/email happened when you selected OK.
In Cloud we’re being told that the posting function automatically sends the invoice to all the email addresses in the Functional Object, not giving us the option to first just post the invoice and then decide what further action to take - either do nothing, print to a print, create a PFD or send out to the email address in the functional object. Given that this is different from Apps 9.7, we want to confirm that the ability to just post and not send the invoice via email doesn’t exist in Cloud. Or if it does, what is that function?
Is it that in Cloud, posting the invoice automatically sends the invoice to all email addresses in the Functional Object or is there a way to just Post the invoice and not send it?
This is an urgent request as it is preventing us from sending out invoices to a number of customers.
