IFS V8: Incorrect accounting 99: No further acquisition possible to object XX. FA will not updated.

Our user is facing an issue related to Distribution and Manufacturing Posting Analysis, preventing us from completing the month-end closing. The error message displayed is:

"No further acquisition possible for object MQEPG02/23. FA will not be updated."


Upon further investigation, we found that the mentioned object was scrapped last year. However, certain active documents still need to be fulfilled, specifically the Cancellation of Receipt for Purchase
 


I can’t undo the scrapped.


Appreciate anyone guidance on resolving this issue.

Hi ​@hadi.malick ,

Accoridng the error message attached error seems to coming from Acqusition transaction as if it was cancellation normally displays Object is in wrong status error message. If it is a cancellation transaction then only solution would be rolling back the Scrapping entry of the Object in Rollback Object transaction window. Since cancellation entry inherits the code part values from the Original entry it will not work even if you change the pre posting info in the PO.

The Fixed Asset should be evaluated if the investment should be added or rolled back as well. Since the PO is failing you could also cancel the receiving, re-open the PO and remove the FA pre-posting for the transaction.

Thanks for your advice, as I'm proceeds to do as per your suggestion to rolling back scrapping items, the results still same.

Step 1: Rollout latest transaction. Got alert in middle of the process due to acc period already close.


Step 2: Proceed with voucher date by today date (20/3/2024) - Success
 


Step 3: Re-run erroneous distribution and manufacturing post and transfer purchase transaction again found issue still persisted with same error.
 


Please help me😔
