Sorry. I do not have the updated R&D documents. I asked a co-worker SE who is very familiar with this area. That person also does not have access to latest / greatest documents. 

However, the IFS help has a good amount of documentation on this subject.  If you get into IFS help, you can search for the documents or go into the tax control area within the company screen, and then access page help. This should allow an easy way to get that documentation. 

My environment is down (right now), - I can’t show the image to get into help. 

In IFS Documentation (help) you can search for Vertex or Avalara.   More from a user perspective than development.
