Hi,
Not fully understanding the question, finance basic data template.
In IFS we have a concept of company template. The company template has a very large amount of finance basic data. This includes (not limited to), accounts, account groups, account types, posting control, payment terms, accounting periods, voucher types, etc. It’s a very large list. Many people consider this as basic data.
Yes, the templates have existed in apps 8 and older. We use the template concept in Cloud as well.

Hi,
Every version has templates. Your existing finance company, originated from a company template if you trace back. For example, Company X may have a source of another company Y, but that other company Y came from a template.
You can copy company templates or even create your own.
