Hi,

As part of our open data migration, we are currently migrating supplier invoices using the standard External File Template (Template ID: STDSIN2).

We have a number of supplier invoices in the legacy system that are currently on hold, and the client would like these invoices to be migrated with the same hold status in IFS.

Could you please advise whether it is possible to apply invoice holds, along with the hold information, during the supplier invoice migration process using STDSIN2?

If this is not feasible through the migration template, is there an alternative method to place a hold on a bulk set of migrated invoices in a single process or batch?

We would appreciate your guidance and any recommended approach for handling this requirement.

Thank you for your support.

Note: We are currently using IFS Cloud 24R2.

I’m not seeing the attribute as being available.

If you look at the SIN1 template, it has different record types. The record type N is for the installments. The hold option on the supplier invoice is associated with the installment section of the invoice. But the external file template does not include the option for the hold.

This can be seen by attempting to add an attribute to your template. The hold attribute is not available. to be added.

I suppose you could use a migration job to update that attribute.  Or maybe even a script.
