I am trying to create a template for automatic matching for the bank reconciliation. I receive an error that I do not have enough columns and/or wrong decimal sign. What is the difference between the “Destination Column” and the “Column No.” I am wondering if that is my issue.

There you apply your Decimal Symbol and your text separator. This would be the first check if the decimal symbol in your external file template details matches the ones in your file.
The difference between Column No. and Destination Column is the following.
The Column No. determines the order in which your columns should be arranged in your file.
The Destination Column is the data base column in the underlying table.
