In IFS APPS10, I have a need to restrict the number of characters that can be entered and saved into a specific field. It is in Manual Supplier Invoice screen → PO Ref field. I am aware that an IFS Event Action can prevent an action such as this and return an error message to the user. Can anyone provide the Online SQL code for this?
Also, please advise as to returning a “soft error message” which would be returned to the user but not prevent the user from saving their record.
