RESOLUTION/ANSWER:

  • "Request Aborted" returns when trying to transfer MCPR Customer company transactions.

 

WORKAROUND: N/A 

 

Solution: From investigations, it was identified this happened due to the long-running function and suggested to increase the “Statement Execution Timeout” parameter in Enterprise explore configuration.

VERIFIED:

As explained, “Request Aborted” message triggered when there is a transaction which executes for a longer time and it goes beyond the timeout (Statement Execution Timeout). However as suggested changing the parameter is not practical as well as it is not recommended. The recommended approach is to execute this process using a background job if the option is available. If only the online execution is provided, then it is required to investigate and check why the transaction takes a longer time. Such might be reported to IFS Unified Support for further evaluation.
