Dear IFS Community,

IFS Support team forwarded me to here with the question:
In Germany there will be a mandatory e-invoicing.

Please see the below link:
https://www.bdo.global/en-gb/insights/tax/indirect-tax/germany-mandatory-e-invoicing-what-you-need-to-know!

As this is a mandatory government regulation, my question would be, when, how and which UPD will IFS provide an official solution to handle this requirement?

I also found this post: E-invoicing for Germany | IFS Community but this does not contains the tags IFS mentioned, so I raised this topi again.

Kind regards,

Balazs

Dear @bapehu

IFS does not support the import and export of ZUGFeRD and it is not planned.

You can create your own process with boomi or buy the service from Pagero or Seeburger.

What e-invoicing company in Germany is being considered by anyone apart from Pagero or Seeburger?

IFS is the ERP,  i.e. the financial system of record, hence provide and store all information for invoicing. Can anybody confirm that IFS is indeed compliant with German Invoicing requirements as from January 2027 from a data perspective?

Ideally IFS then also natively supports E-Invoicing and integration with local government infrastructures like for Germany but if it requires tools like Pagero or Avalara to make the connection with government for E-Invoicing could be acceptable.

Not acceptable if any invoicing data or setup is required outside of IFS, i.e. if IFS is not the system of record for processing an invoice.

Looking forward to your answers and views on this topic.
