Hi,

Electronic invoicing and electronic reporting will gradually become mandatory in France from September 2026.

How does IFS plan to address these new legal requirements?

In particular for electronic reporting which will require providing different invoice statuses during its lifecycle.

What is the strategy? IFS 10 update, French localization package update, other solution?

    Same question for IFS Cloud update ?

    What is the strategy to fullfill new requirements for VAT due date or tax codification of type of invoice (380 = regular invoice, 381 = credit note, 386 = downpayment invoice) ?

      Research and Development team has already identified the necessity of this enhancement and has implemented it. As planned, the fix was included in 25R2 and this version has will be released on November 27, 2025 (General Availability).

      You can refer to the release notes in the IFS Community to gain a better understanding of the enhancement performed by the R&D team and the full setup required in the application with all new data fields.

      Furthermore, the R&D team has communicated that there are no plans to support the France E-invoice functionality in App10.

          Is there any documentation on how to set up e-invoicing in IFS 25R2?

          Specifically regarding the external status parameters and how to configure electronic addresses for customers or suppliers.

            ​@AudreyV The following topic indicates that R&D has addressed some of the e-invoicing issues, but has not yet specified the SU planned for release.

             

             

            I’m still interested if anyone has a configuration guide/documentation for e-invoicing france in IFS, particularly with external status handling.

              Hi,

              It’s quite a major upgrade to move to 25R2 given the new EBR requirements etc.

              Are there any plans to make the functionality available in previous Cloud versions (such as 25R1) with SU releases?
