Hi,

In IFS EE, we had an interesting feature that consisted in defining a default budget version, so that it would be displayed automatically to the user when using GL Balance Analysis and other functionnalities.

It seemed that this functionnality was planned on IFS Cloud :

But is does not work (I made sure I had values in the budget version for the GL voucher lines) :

Is there something I’m doing wrong ?

If not, is there a fix planned for this issue ?

If not, how can I make sure there will be ?

Thank you for your help,

You should use GL Balance Sets where you define the budget version per balance set per each accounting period and this has replaced the default budget version functionality.

Thank you, that’s what I guessed even though I’d prefer users not being forced to select a Balance set when running GL Balance.

And then when you populate the GL Balance Analysis, you must enter the Balance Set here which will populate the planning values:

Yes that is what is bothering me, an extra action for the user without real added value if there is only one budget version to be considered…

Is it planned to re-establish this functionality ?
