Customs/Import functionality for India in IFS standard Apps9

Hi All,

 Is there any solution in standard IFS9 apps for handling import funcitonality as per Indian Custom scenario. Like we have to add Basic custom duty plus social welfare charge and CHA charges on material. And we need IGST tax on Basic material value plus Basic custom duty + social welfare cahrge. I tried to handle it through charge type but some issues are there. Is there any standard solution for this? Please suggest

Hi Sandeep,

We do not have a solution for such scenarios in Applications 9 standard version. But, I think we have a solution for this in Global Extension. Further, we have introduced Tax Calculation Structure functionality in Application 10 and from which you can handle tax on taxes. Thank you for your reply. Yes, Tax structure functionality is there in IFS10 that may help in import scenarios. I will test the scenario in APPS 10.
