Hi,

Has anyone come across this behaviour in IFS before or knows why it happens?

We’re seeing that where a customer relationship exists (parent/child), and the credit limit is only held against the parent in master data, the Customer Basic Data Report is showing the credit limit against both the parent and the child accounts.

For example:

  • Parent account holds the credit limit
  • Child account has a zero limit in master data
  • However, the report shows the same limit against both

This is happening in both IFS10 and IFS Cloud, so it looks to be standard behaviour rather than a configuration issue.

I’m particularly interested to understand:

  • Is this expected behaviour of the report?
  • If so, what’s the rationale behind it?
  • Has anyone found a way to report this more accurately (e.g. distinguishing parent vs child limits)?

Any insight or workarounds others are using would be really helpful.

Thanks
