I was looking at the IFS Credit Card Interface Guide and I saw on step 3 Administrative Tasks that it talks about scheduling the Key Renewal.
Is this something we should be doing?
Is there any reasons we should not be running?
Does it cause any issues with the Paypal Credit Card Interface etc.?
How often do you recommend?
3 Administrative Tasks
3.1 Scheduling the Key renewal
It is recommended to change the key periodically to improve the security. IFS Credit Card installation comes with preconfigured Key renewal features. However, you need to modify the task details for it to come to full effect. Pleas follow the following instructions.
Go the Database Tasks (Solution Manager/Configurations/Database Tasks/ Database Tasks) and right click on the Change DES3Key Task.
