Hello,

Does anyone have an explanation/guide for the statements in the cost message log?

Currently have a message ‘Part has been removed from cost structure. Automatic recalculation has been performed.’

Would be helpful to have additional info regarding other messages.

Are you encountering this issue when running the cost calculation for the part. This appears as an error message in the background job ?

Can we have the steps that you followed before encountering this issue, additionally a screen capture of the issue.

Cost message log is its own menu, rather than error in the background job. They will be generated when you perform a cost roll up. There appear to be many cost messages, but cannot find a detailed explanation. You will see the options if filtering via ‘Cost Message’ in the above screen.

Some are self-explanatory such as ‘No Buildable/Plannable Structure Revision Found’ which means the costing has not calculated due to the product structure being missing or tentative.

However, some of the messages I am unsure of the cause.
