C90 control type not available for M89 posting type and it is available for posting type M88. One of our customers prefer to know the reason on this. Do you have any idea on this?

I think the reason might be M88 is running for material sending company, therefore you can indicate posting cost group or cost source of your inventory part. However M89 is running when the other company receives the product. And posting cost group or cost source of receiving company does not have to be same as sending company.
You can tell that IFS can use cost source of material in receiving company, but obviously it is not designed this way.
