Code string combination issue in Dist & Manu Postings

ARR-NONINV of register non-inventory PO arrivals got error on M91 posting as following.  It only happened to one of the newly created company 21. M91 posting control is similar on all companies, fixed value on Account, C5 or AC1 on Location...  Could someone help me with some suggestions ?  Thanks in advance

Hello

This is not about posting control itself but the user and its user group. Follow below steps

  1. Go to  Accounting Rules > User Related Data > Users per User Group and add the user that creates M91 transaction one of user group.
  2. Go to Accounting Rules > Posting Rules > Combination Rules window and see if the user group is allowed to post transaction.

Hi 

The above is 100% correct, the issue appears to be a user per user group issue where the user who did the transaction did not belong to a user group.  Typically, when I see that exact same message, the first thing to review is the user per user group. 

See the transaction history and get the user ID.

The review the appropriate user per user group records, and add the user ID to this group.

Yes, it’s the issue of the user group, for some reason the group that the buyer belongs to was removed from the posting combination rules.  After adding the group back to the posting rules, and rerun erroneous postings, the posting went through successfully…
