We are in the process of changing Servers where IFS runs. In testing we are trying to run an external file assistant job to get an output file. The current External File Template has a folder in the Output File Path Server (POSPAY). Where is the path of that folder defined?
Those file paths are defined in the database. Can be found in the IFS view ORACLE_DIRECTORIES or oracle internal view DBA_DIRECTORIES.
The first section in this page explains how to create them. It is for data migration but it is using the same concept:
