Dear Community.

I hope to acquire valuable tips from your knowledge and experience in field of External Payments - ISO20022 (001.001.009) and Camt.053.

I am struggling with the last step of integration when the file uploaded via IN folder is correctly placed in Exernal Payments. Payment Order reference is there on each line recognized against previously issued PO file and when checking Matched transactions proper invoice installments are there.

However, when Mixed Payment is created it looks like below:

Any idea why IFS10 cannot properly transfer such matching to Mixed Payment in case of Split Payment?

Message Codes are defined, xml file contains reference.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions and ideas.

Karolina

You might need the Payment Order Item ID number as the reference. Otherwise IFS will match any installment that was included in the payment order regardless of the bank account it was paid to. To be fair, I don’t remember if payment order line numer is used for the matching and if Polish localisation improves that identification or not. I did not used CAMT but MT940 back then.

Pozdrowienia dla zespołu, long time no see :)

Unfortunately I don’t remember which reference Polish formats use, but SEPA and ISO20022 use the payment reference in EndToEndId and InstrId as:

order_id/date/payment order line number

12345/2026-11-04/1

12345/2026-11-04/2

12345/2026-11-04/…

This is then expected to be sent back by the bank in the CAMT53 or MT940.

Maybe @Adam Bereda or @mabrpl Marek can help :)

Hi,
Piotr called my name so I am here :)

I do not understand your screenshots: message line shown on the first one is not related to matching shown on the second one (external payment matching).
In this seconsd screenshot I cannot see external payment transaction list per payment - please share it and check if supplier is indicated there or not.
In Mixed payment window, I can see unmatched (remaining) amount - it happened most probably because supplier id is missing on lump-sum transaction and system matched all invoices in order to this transaction - I am guessing that because payer/payee identity field on transaction is not shown on this last screenshot - please check it as well.

Ideally, I would expect on external payment transaction supplier indicated per load item (but not invoice number - instalment-level details are present in Matching details) - and this supplier information should be reflected in Mixed payment lump-sum line.

I did not understand it at the beginning, but I think it is clear for me now.

The payment that is highlighted in the file is only for the net amount. Acknowledge Supplier Payment Order acknowledged both installments - for the split payment and for the net.

I believe a condition for any automatic matching (existing or customized even) would be to reference the payment order line ID to differentiate which payment transaction was for the installment 1 and which for installment 2.

Thank you Piotr and Adam for taking time and sharing your suggestions and tips :) Serdeczne dzięki!

Let me clarify:

  1. reference is taken from <EndToEnd> section in XML Camt053 file. Section <Instr> is not transferred from ISO20022 to Camt053.
  1.
  2. external payment file does not include recognized Payee/Payer Identity, but contains such info in Bank Transaction
  1. mixed payment lump sum line does not contain Payee/Payer Identity either
  1. payment order details

Strange is that in External Payment Details matching the invoices are correctly recognized and connected, but when Mixed Payment is created such connection is lost.

I had one strange example in IFS TEST where all invoices were fetched and matched under one Acknolwedge Payment lump sum line instead of several lines and multiple matched invoices (line7 was split payment order and line 8 it was non-split payment order)
