How do i put in multiple search criteria in business designer?
I have the document “IFS Business Reporter – Designer’s Guide” but it is not at all well written?
Is there any other documentation available which is clear?

Yes, you can enter a number of filters.
From my experience, (I had been a Business Reporter trainer many years ago) it’s not an easy tool you can typically learn on your own. It’s a tool where training is highly encouraged.
Sorry, but I don’t have any recent documentation, my docs are very old. If you attended a training session, they would provide documentation.
I’m suggesting a training session, mostly so that you can save significant time. It’s just not an easy topic to learn on your own.

You could create parameters for different items and use it as a filter criteria in different design elements.
If you need to filter on different values of the same item, then there is a check box called Multi Value in the parameter pane. You need to enable that option, then you need to use the parameter with IN operator in the filter criteria.
