What’s your definition of a group account?
You can have budget only accounts For example 6000B (the B is just an example).
You can enter a budget for account 6000 when your actuals would be in 6001, 6002, 6003 etc.
If you have a budget in a group account (or any other account that’s different from actuals) is not as easy when comparing budgets to actuals. Sure it can be done, but it’s not entirely as easy. We have tools that allow the grouping to make this easier, but you still need to use these tools.

How to proceed with the upload of budget? There are several companies in the system, with mapping for accounts (subsidiary) to group accounts (parent company). How does it will affect the companies?

We have Account mapping for Group Accounts (parent company and subsidiaries). The objective would be to know if it is possible to upload the budget in the group accounts. And to understand what the impact is on the final accounts, once the transactions are performed for the Accounts.

In budget version you can enter a budget for any appropriate account in that company.
