Block use of project ID on manual voucher

Hello to the community, 

 

I was wondering if there was a way to block some project IDs for use on manual vouchers (just like we block manual connections on PO for some projects for ex, but this time for manual voucher rows) 

 

If there is an option for that, please share your expertise on the matter

Hi, 

  1. If this is required for specific User Groups, then you can check “Combination Rules” to create rules to Block the User from selecting the Project ID.
  2. If not you might have to create an (Modification) Event to stop the selection of Project ID at “Voucher” creation. However in this case you might have to check where to keep the rule of Which Project to Which User

Thank you for sharing your expertise; I am wondering though; I still need all employees to be able to register time on these projects, but block the use of the project on manual voucher. I think the combination rule option will block the time registration as well, am I right?
