+1We are on Apps10. Is it possible to allow a user to only enter specific Inventory Part Status’? We have 4 users in our company that should be making parts A=Active. However, there are additional users that need to enter other Inventory Part Status codes and we would like to restrict them from entering A=Active.

+7Hi Dawn, this cannot be done within the core security concept with the permissions sets, but it can be done with an event/action that blocks any modification to ‘A’ except when the user is ‘XYZ’ . Either hardcode and maintain those users within the configuration or put them in a designated custom table.
