We are having trouble with the background job that posts the journals.
The error received shows:
‘User group XXX is not connected to voucher type with function group L for accounting year 2022 in Company XXX’
What is strange, is the fact there is a SPACE after the ‘voucher type’.
I would normally expect to have a missing entry in the user group for that specific voucher type. However, as there is no voucher type showing i dont know what is missing!
Any ideas

Please go to voucher type analysis and query for function group L --- it should be your MPL voucher.
Then please go to voucher series for voucher type that was returned in above query -- find the series for the current year -- make sure the user group that the user who is running the transfer is attached and it is marked as default type
Exactly as Nancy said - this error means that there is no default voucher type with function group L for user group in a company and year.
